Prague and Vienna in 2022!
The Brevard Community Chorus was invited by Music Celebrations International, the Honorable Dr. Michael Ludwig, Mayor of Vienna, and the Austrian National Tourist Office to participate in the BEETHOVEN CHORAL FESTIVAL June 12 - 16, 2022, in Vienna’s historic ST. STEPHEN’S CATHEDRAL. The Festival was part of the official 252nd Anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven, one of classical music’s most influential and celebrated composers. DR. MARC FOSTER, Director of Choral Activities at High Point University, served as the Festival Chorus Artistic Director. After the Festival, we toured Prague June 16-19.
We head to
Dublin in 2024!
The Brevard Community Chorus has been invited to participate in the Dublin Choral Festival June 19 - 23, 2024. Three days of rehearsals will lead participants to a grand finale performance in the historic, stunning, and iconic St. Patrick's Cathedral. The festival chorus will perform under the direction of award-winning conductor and composer, Jake Runestad. Following the concert, the chorus will tour in the west of the Emerald Isle. Join us!
